The whole house fan is installed inside the attic between the living space and ceiling. With an attic fan you can cool the attic to the same temperature as it is outside greatly reducing the house from heating as quickly. Solar attic fans work by using sunlight to power the fan s motor to help prevent any heat or moisture build up in your attic. It helps to cool your home temperatures and the attic by approximately 30 degrees.

The result is a cooler attic space with plenty of air exchange. Even on scorching summer days the air outside your house is nowhere near as hot as the air trapped inside the attic. During the summer an attic can be 40 to 50 hotter than the outside temperature which in turn heats up the house very quickly.
